After installing a Mobal eSIM on an Apple device, you may notice that the eSIM status is listed as "Activating..." or you may receive an error message such as "Activation Failure", "Connecting to network..." or "Unable to activate".

This message usually appears if the eSIM is installed outside of Japan (as our products do not support international roaming) or when the network in Japan is busy.
Because of this, the status may remain unchanged until your eSIM is able to successfully register with the local network in Japan.
As long as the eSIM is visible on your device ( In the SIM Management section where all installed SIMs and eSIMs are listed ) there is no need to worry.
Once your device connects to the local network, the eSIM will automatically complete its setup and become active. If it does not activate immediately, please do not remove or delete the eSIM. You may simply need to wait a short while for the installation to finish.
If there are any connection issues after the installation has been completed, however, please ensure that your device has been configured correctly for cellular data access: Data Setup Guides
