Billing Procedures

The billing procedures can vary (depending on the product type) and so for additional information, please refer to the relevant product section below -

In addition to the initial purchase fee for your SIM / eSIM, you will also be charged for your plan and any additional usage fees you have incurred.


* Please also note that if you have purchased the latest 5G version of our Voice+Data eSIM product (which will be named "Voice+Data 5G eSIMwithin your account) and you have enabled the roaming feature or the voicemail feature, additional fees will apply for these services as well. Details of the roaming feature can be found here and details of the voicemail feature can be found here.

Short Term Plans:


If you have purchased a Voice+Data SIM / eSIM and decide to select a short term plan (i.e. the 30 day option), you will be billed for the entire plan (minus any usage charges) as an upfront fee when going through the activation process. 


You will not incur any additional plan fees unless you manually extend your short term plan or switch to an ongoing plan.


Any additional usage charges that you incur (for calls / texts) will be billed on a post-paid basis to the Credit / Debit Card or Paypal account linked to your Mobal account. This is because your usage reports are passed on to us with a delay of approximately 1-2 months.

Long Term Plans:


When selecting a long term plan and an activation date that falls part way through a calendar month, your first charge will be a pro-rated plan fee (for service between the activation date you have selected and the end of that calendar month).


Your plan then renews on the 1st of each month, with payment taken automatically on the 10th. This will give you the opportunity to review the invoice within your Mobal account on the 1st (by following the instructions found here) before payment is automatically taken on the 10th. Charges will then continue in this way until you manually terminate your plan.


If you select a termination date that falls part way through a calendar month however, please be advised that the full plan fee for that month will still apply (the final plan fee will not be pro-rated).


Any additional usage charges that you incur for calls / texts (or for data usage in excess of the 500MB allowance when using a "Voice Lite" SIM or eSIM) will also be billed this way. As usage reports are passed on to us with a delay (of approximately 1-2 months) however, usage fees will likely be added to a bill 1-2 months later.



 

Usage Fees:


Your usage reports are passed on to us with a delay (of approximately 1-2 months) and so any usage fees you incur will be billed with a delay.


Once we have received your usage reports, an invoice will be added to your account on the 1st of the following month (which you will be able to review by following the instructions found here). Payment will then be automatically taken on the 10th.

WiFi Devices

In addition to the initial purchase fee for your WiFi Device, you will also be charged a monthly fee for your plan (this fee will vary depending on the specific plan that you select).

Our Data-Only SIM / eSIM products operate as a pre-paid service and so once you have paid the initial purchase fee for your SIM / eSIM, we can confirm that you will not incur any additional charges.
