Outbound Calls & Outbound SMS Text Messages will be chargeable at the specified rates

- Number Porting -

A Japanese phone number can be transferred to or from a Mobal Voice+Data SIM / eSIM if required

- Replacements / Device Transfer -

Physical SIM Cards

If the SIM is on a long term plan and it is Lost / Stolen, you can purchase a replacement (and retain the current phone number)

eSIMs

If the device containing your eSIM is Lost / Stolen or you need to transfer the eSIM to a new device, you can pay for the eSIM to be re-issued (and retain the current phone number)

(Usage over this amount will incur a ¥2,500 fee for an additional 2.5GB of Data)

Only the Long Term plan mentioned above is available when using a Voice Lite SIM / eSIM

- Usage Fees -

Incoming Calls & Incoming SMS Text Messages are FREE

Outbound Calls, Outbound SMS Text Messages (and Data Usage over 500MB) will be chargeable

- Number Porting -

Phone numbers cannot be transferred!

You will be assigned a new Japanese phone number (which will be lost if the plan is terminated)

- Replacements / Device Transfer -

If the SIM or eSIM is Lost / Stolen and you purchase a replacement, it will be assigned a new phone number.

When switching to a new device, physical SIM cards can be transferred but if you are using an eSIM, a replacement eSIM will be required and it will be assigned a new phone number.

*Please note that the iPhone version of this SIM / eSIM can only be installed in an iPhone and the same restriction applies for the Android version
