LINE App - Age Verification Issue

If you have purchased a Voice+Data SIM / eSIM or a Voice Lite SIM / eSIM, you should be able to use the LINE application if you wish to.


However, please be advised that our services do not support LINE’s age verification service (as this would require you to be a direct customer of a major Japanese network) and so you will need to skip this step.


The only features that are not available when skipping age verification are the ID search and phone number search options.


Even if you are unable to use these search functions however, you should still be able to add your friends via friend addition or QR code. You can also add friends to LINE by synchronizing your phone address book with your LINE address book.
