If you would like to receive your SIM or eSIM access code prior to your arrival in Japan, you would be required to select the "Shipping (Free)" option during the checkout process.


Depending on your location, delivery times can vary (from 2-5 business days to 15-30 business days) but an estimate will be provided during the checkout process after providing your delivery address.


If you intend to select our delivery option however, please be advised that you will be asked to provide a valid form of I.D. shortly after your order has been placed. You must also be over the age of 18 to purchase a voice capable SIM or eSIM product.


The required form of I.D. will vary (depending on the shipping destination) but the specific I.D. requirements will also be explained during the checkout process. 


The I.D. requirements for our shipping option (when purchasing a voice capable SIM / eSIM) are due to Japanese law and so unfortunately, we are unable to make any exceptions.

Data-Only SIM Cards

If you would like to receive your physical Data-Only SIM Card prior to your arrival in Japan, you would be required to select the "Shipping (Free)" option during the checkout process.


Depending on your location, delivery times can vary (from 2-5 business days to 15-30 business days) but an estimate will be provided during the checkout process after entering your delivery address.

Data-Only eSIMs

If you are ordering a Data only eSIM, we can confirm that delivery will not be required.


Once you have placed your order, the eSIM will be added to your Mobal online account (MyAccount) within approximately 15 minutes.


Instructions on how to activate your eSIM will also be sent to you via email and so please review all information carefully.

 







WiFi Devices

Please note that we can only ship our WiFi devices to an address within Japan.


Once you have placed your order, your device should be delivered to you within 2-5 business days.

However, please be advised that the choice of collection points will be limited to a few locations in Tokyo (as this product type is only stocked at these locations).

If you have already placed an order for delivery but it will not arrive in time, please send an email to our support team at support@mobal.com and we can check on the options available to you. 


In your email to our team, please include your order confirmation number, the date / time you will be arriving in Japan and the airport / airport terminal you will be arriving at.
