MMS Messaging Error

Modified on Tue, 30 Sep at 6:07 PM

Our Voice+Data SIM / eSIM products and our Voice Lite SIM / eSIM products support the standard SMS Text Messaging feature (i.e. messages containing only text).

However, please be advised that the MMS Messaging feature (which allows additional media such as an image to be sent) is not supported.

If you are using an iPhone, you may have received an error messages such as “MMS messaging requires your phone number” or “MMS messaging requires your email address” due to this feature not being supported and so you would be required to send a standard SMS message (containing only text) instead.

If you continue to receive this error message however, you may be required to disable the MMS messaging feature.

On most iPhone handsets, you can locate this option by going to:
Settings > Messages > MMS Messaging
